When it comes to handbags, Balenciaga without a doubt is not the powerhouse that it once was. Back in the early to mid-2000′s, Balenciaga was at its peak. Since then we’ve had a flood of contemporary designers that offer new fun and trendy styles season after season. For Balenciaga to rely on only one style as their signature piece, such as the City Bag, and to offer season after season only to change the color gets monotonous after a while.
Balenciaga does have other styles like the Papier A4 Tote but still, has the same signature hardware look.
There still is a Balenciaga fan base of course, but I just don’t hear as many people flocking to pick up the newest color of the season, like before. If you still like this style you can most certainly find it at most department stores.
Neiman Marcus has the biggest selection of Balenciaga City Bags online!
